Water conservation and management is becoming a worldwide survival issue due to:

  • Accelerating water shortages;
  • Uncontrolled development and population growth;
  • Aging infrastructures;
  • Growing agricultural demands;
  • A general warming trend;
  • The ever-increasing cost of, and demand for natural water resources

How Rainwater Harvesting and the Wisy Filter work

How Rain Water Harvesting works

Rain water is collected through standard gutters and downspouts. Instead of just washing out on the ground, the downspouts feed into solid PVC pipes that lead to the filter (downspout filters are also available)
where the debris is removed, the water is oxygenated and piped into storage tanks.

Internal pumps are used to pump the water out of the tanks for use.

How the Wisy Vortex Filter works

Through incredibly precise engineering and the simple principle of water surface tension, the Wisy filter is able to actually remove the water from the debris, not strain it through the debris like a standard filter.

Using a Wisy filter makes maintaining your rainwater harvesting system quite simple. The manufacturer recommends cleaning the filter only 3 - 4 times a year, and its dishwasher safe.

How the Wisy In-line Filter works

Through incredibly precise engineering and the simple principle of water surface tension, the Wisy filter is able to actually remove the water from the debris, not strain it through the debris like a standard filter.
